Information Services Foundation and Advanced Modern Apprenticeships:

Modern Apprenticeships are aimed at under 25s, and include NVQ and Key Skills components which are achieved through targeted training, mostly in the workplace. For full details of mandatory outcomes, please see (link to NTO-NC Directory of Evidence).

The Information Services FMA and AMA Frameworks were developed through consultation with employers and TECs (Training and Enterprise Councils, replaced by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) from March 2001).

isNTO is working jointly with Cultural Heritage NTO and Metier (the Arts and Entertainment NTO) on a government-funded programme to produce a joint framework which will have generic and sector-specific components.
